Version 3.7 is here

StageLight 3.7 is now available and brings several improvements focused on more precise fixture control, expanded effects, and better integration into music-driven workflows.

This release introduces manual Moving Head correction and mirroring, a significantly extended effect system with new color and chaser options, BPM and Ableton Link synchronization for tempo-based effects, as well as a new licensing model for professional and educational use.

Moving Head Pan/Tilt Correction & Mirror Mode

Moving Heads now support manual Pan/Tilt correction.
In Edit Mode within the fixture details, you can enter correction values (for example Tilt -5) to compensate for mounting positions, mechanical offsets, or mirrored installations.
This allows precise alignment without changing your cues or effect programming. A Pan/Tilt Mirror Mode is also available for mirrored setups.

New Licensing Model

StageLight now offers Student, Pro, and Academic licenses. This licensing model enables better support for companies, educational institutions, and participants of StageLight training programs.

If you are interested in one of these licenses, please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

Extended Effect System

The effect system has been expanded while keeping workflows simple and flexible:

  • Dimmer Effects can now optionally include strobe and shutter, enabling more dynamic intensity-based effects.
  • Color Effects now support color harmonies such as complementary, analogous, triadic, tetradic, and monochromatic, and can be combined with dimmer effects.
  • Chaser Effects are now available as a separate effect type and support multiple patterns, including forward, backward, bounce in/out, and bounce out/in.
  • Movement Effects act as a universal effect type, allowing movement, color, and dimmer control to be combined within a single effect.

This cascading approach allows complex looks to be created with fewer cues and less manual programming.

BPM & Ableton Link Synchronization

Tempo-based effects can now be synchronized using BPM or Ableton Link, ensuring tight, music-driven timing across your setup.  Effects based on fixed value and fade times remain independent, as their timing is defined directly by their parameters.
